Refund Policy

Retainer

A 50% non refundable retainer is required for all bookings. Bookings are not confirmed until the retainer is received and confirmed by Brio Decor and Events Inc.

Cancellation Policy

Since our services are largely time and planning, we do our best to provide a refund policy that takes this into account. Any and all cancellations will result in the forfeiture of the non-refundable retainer deposit for the event. Client may cancel Agreement by giving written notice to Brio Decor and Events Inc. by mail or email at admin@briodecorandevents.ca.

 

Should the event be cancelled by the Client (except due to force majeure or due to fee related earnings material breach of the Agreement) the following charges apply:

  • Cancellations made 14 days or more in advance of the scheduled event date:

    • The Client is accepting to forfeiting their retainer, however no other financial obligations is required.

  • Cancellations made within 7-14 days in advance of the scheduled event date:

    • The Client is accepting to forfeiting their retainer and will be require pay 50% of the remaining payment due (totalling 75% of the total event cost).

  • Cancellations made within 7 days of the event date:

    • The Client is accepting to forfeiting their retainer and will be require pay 100% of the remaining payment due (totalling 100% of the total event cost).

 

If Brio Decor and Events Inc. is unable to attend events, or complete the contract due to illness, tragedy, “Acts of God” or “Force Majeure”, Brio Decor and Events Inc. will make commercially reasonable efforts to provide a replacement with capabilities and experience to finish the tasks.

 

All cancellations to this contract requires written notification either by mail or email. 

Refund Policy

 The retainer is to reserve your session date and is due at the signing of the contract. Final payment must be paid on time and in full. Under no circumstance is the retainer refundable. The retainer is deducted off of the package total. 

 

Final Payment

This payment is due on project date. This payment is non-refundable under any circumstance.

Down-grading services once this agreement has been signed by both parties will not be discounted or reimbursed.

Brio Decor and Events Inc. hereby reserves and retains the right to cancel any and all of the Services with or without cause by providing written notice to Client. In the event Brio Decor and Events Inc. elects to terminate this Agreement, half of the Retainer Deposit will be refunded to Client within thirty (30) days of notice of termination.
